Home & Style
Interior-style archetypes, declutter diagnostics, and the room-by-room reads for anyone renovating without a decorator on speed dial.
About the archetypes
Interior style quizzes usually try to sell you a Pinterest board. The archetypes here start earlier. What do you actually want your space to do for you at the end of a hard day?
Some of us want it quiet and warm. Some want it visually interesting enough to notice. Some want it deeply personal and cluttered with meaning. The style patterns (warm minimalist, layered maximalist, textural neutralist, curated storyteller) come out of that question, not the other way around. Once you know your baseline, the aesthetic choices get much easier.
